Halloween Shaker Cards - 2010

These are the first cards I have ever made that I gave to anyone.  The cards and the instructions to make them were on the Circle Blog and I totally scraplifted this idea from Shantaie Fowler.  Her instructions were to fill the center with Halloween confetti, but I waited too long and couldn't find any, so I used stickers, foam spiders and glitter.  They were lot's of fun to make and her instructions were easy to follow.

I gave these cards to my granddaughters today when they came over.  We had quite a busy day, with a cookout, pumpkin carving and then trick or treating.  It was a really FUN day.

You can see the spiders inside the card through the acetate . Click on the pic to make it larger.

Labor Day Weekend at the Beach - September 2010

Labor Day weekend we went to Melbourne Beach on Florida's east coast.  It was a mini family reunion with lots of family members, children, grandchildren, neices, nephews, brothers and sisters,  and we all had such a wonderful time.  I put together this layout of my granddaughters and I will probably do some more pages of other family members.  I entered this layout in the Cricut Circle "Going Places Labor Day" contest and guess what?  I was one of the winners!!  I was so excited.

These are our beautiful granddaughters, 4 y/o McKenna and 1 y/o Delaney having fun at the beach.

This pic was taken from our 6th floor balcony.  Beautiful view!

This pic was also taken from our 6th floor balcony as a storm rolled in our last night there.

Decorating For Halloween - October 2009

McKenna and Grandpa decorated the front yard with these scarecrows for Halloween.  She was so excited and decided to name the scarecrows HURLEY, BURLEY and SHIRLY. This layout was my entry in the Cricut Circle "All For Fall" contest.

Bath Time Fun

My granddaughters LOVE to play in the bath tub, so I made this double page layout of them having fun in the tub.  This layout was also my entry in the Cricut Circle Blog "Think Pink" contest.

McKenna was having a ball making funny hair styles with the bubbles.  Her laugh is so infectious.

Delaney and Mckenna were wearing their dessert on their faces.  Yummy!!
