Christmas 2011

I finally finished a two page L/O of my family on Christmas morning.  I REALLY struggled with this one.  I just couldn't find any creative mojo at all, but it is what it is!

This is the two page L/O.

The first page is a photo of our granddaughters getting their picture taken with Santa.  Delaney was NOT happy about it at all.  It doesn't show up very well in the photo, but the bottom of the layout is very glittery and so its the word Merry at the top.

The second page is a collage of photos taken on Christmas morning.  Traditionally the grandkids and parents arrive early in their pajamas.  We all open presents and then have a huge breakfast.

Love, love, love those little faces on Christmas morning!

Time Flies

Oh my gosh, I can't believe it is February already.  I got my first DSLR camera in December and am just recently getting the time to play with it.  Learning the manual settings is HARD, but I m reading a LOT.

Of course our two precious granddaughters are my "models", so I will be posting lots of pics.  Here are a few.

This is McKenna.  She just turned 6 in January.

She is hard to pin down for a photo.  But I love, love this one.

She is such a kindhearted, gentle soul.

This is Delaney.  She is two and a half.

We had a tea party in the back yard and she wanted to wear a hat.

Love this photo.  Love, love.
